2022 HINGE Strategic Planning

The team at HINGE gathered in Greenville, SC from September 15th to 17th to set our strategic plans and goals for 2023 as well as participate in a unique team building experience (keep reading to find out what we did!).

After trialing strategic planning as separate teams in 2021, we decided we have more fun together and joined forces (plus a few new faces!) for our 2022 planning sessions. We launched our planning events with a review of our company history and overall vision followed by a show-and-tell session to get know some of our newbies including our Success Services team—more information to come on these guys at this year’s SHIFT Conference!

The following day was a surprise treat for the team as we traveled out to the BMW Performance Driving School in Greer to test the track—and our teamwork! We split into two groups and participated in three events: timed obstacle course, the “rat race” and an off-road excursion. Everyone got to take a turn at the wheel and had an amazing time! Winners of our friendly competitions were Mike Pepper for the timed obstacle course, Kathy Ligon and Aleta Mechtel for the “rat race,” and Meredith Douglas for overall most improved.

Leadership Coach Rachael Reece of Ignite Engagement Consulting led us through our final day of planning with a full day’s dive into our individual team visions and action plans for 2023. The day included introductions to new services we’ll be launching (stay tuned!), team workshops for setting our action plans, and team presentations for our 2023 strategies.
