HINGE Aids Sale of 7-Site The Compass School

The team at HINGE is pleased to announce the sale of the seven-site, multi-state The Compass School business on behalf of its retiring owners. 

The Compass School is a high-end, Reggio-inspired group of schools operating in large facilities in Illinois, Virginia and Ohio. The group has a long history of providing excellent educational opportunities for young children. 

HINGE’s selling process created multiple potential acquirers—all providing healthy value ranges and complementing the operating culture that the sellers had created. 

The chosen buyer was The Gardner School, a high-quality, multi-site operator seeking to grow its footprint in new markets. They appreciated the seller’s experienced management team and intend to keep all staff intact and develop a growth plan involving the existing team.
