Newly Opened Child Care Sold in Georgia

HINGE Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of Thomasville Child Care Center in southern Georgia.

When a family relocation uprooted founder Rachel Owens, she was determined to keep the center — a lifeline for families in the area — intact to continue serving the community. Owens founded Thomasville Child Care Center in 2023 to serve working parents who desperately needed quality early care options for their children.

"We invested so much to build up this center, our team, and our programs, which meet a real need here in our local area. We wanted to find a buyer who would maintain our commitment to providing this care and not just tear our school down or reinvent the wheel. That's why we brought in HINGE," says Owens.

HINGE developed a strategic go-to-market approach that would enable buyers to see the total value and potential of the school despite only being open for a year. The HINGE team then marketed the center to its extensive network of childcare buyers and facilitated a business and real estate deal with a high-quality regional provider.

"Rachel did all the right things for a first-time childcare owner, and it shows," says HINGE Transaction Advisor Nan Rikard. "She had a great team, a great facility, and great enrollment right out of the gate. We were thrilled to translate this into compelling business projections and land her a wonderful deal."

The sale was also supported by Transaction Manager Carrie Pergerson, Senior Financial Analyst Rusty Bailey, and Coordinator Marissa Webster.

"HINGE's built-in relationships with childcare buyers are priceless," Owens says. "Selling our center and real estate through HINGE was a 10 out of 10 perfect experience."

HINGE Advisors helps childcare owners grow and sell their schools at all stages of the business lifecycle. If you're interested in learning more, reach out today at info@hingeadvisors.com.
