5. Be a witness to information-packed discussions during this year’s panels. We have gathered groups of childcare industry hotshots for two incredibly informative and timely panels for this year’s event. Don’t miss From a Buyer’s Perspective on Wednesday and Strategic Insights for Universal Pre-K Inclusion on Friday. View the agenda.

6. Get inspiration from industry leaders. Hear from a wide-range of speakers operating in different sections of the early childhood industry and ask them all of your burning questions. See the speaker line-up.

7. Gain inside knowledge. As hosts of the event, our team will be sharing all the upcoming trends and forecasted challenges we see in the childcare industry to help put SHIFT attendees ahead of the curve (and ahead of their competition).

8. Build a network of owners like you. With 300 childcare business professionals attending, you’ll get the chance to meet, connect and share experiences with people just like you.

9. Meet stakeholders in the childcare industry. Build a stronger and more diverse professional network by connecting with a wide-range of childcare industry operatives.

10. Take a center tour of KLA Schools. Thanks to owners Candy and Roberto Ortega, SHIFT attendees are invited to tour KLA Schools of Brickell before the start of the conference on Tuesday, February 18th from 10am-12pm.

11. Experience Havana Nights at our Welcome Reception. This year’s welcome reception will be Little Havana themed with Latin tapas, live music and a ‘fedorable’ selfie wall. Special thanks to Essential Properties for sponsoring! Learn more about the event.

13. Start each day with sunrise yoga on the beach. We like to offer energizing extras for our attendees so they can be their best selves throughout the conference. Join fellow attendees on the beach each day from 6:30-7:15am for an uplifting yoga session.

14. Refresh your brains with morning Mindology sessions. This year, we are joined by Mindology Fitness coach Troy Byer who will lead us in a 10-minute mindfulness session each morning to help our brains reset for the day ahead.

15. Enjoy a massage during lunch. We’ve hire professional masseuses from the local area to treat our attendees to revitalizing massages during each day’s lunch break.

16. Extended hours for social events. Our welcome reception and book signing party will run for extended hours this year. This means more time for networking, socializing and free food and drink!

17. Gain access to conference content and attendees. After the conference, you’ll get the chance to access speaker presentations, handouts and top tips from fellow attendees when you join our SHIFT Exclusive Facebook group.

18. Stay at a world class hotel. This year’s hotel boasts spacious rooms with views of the ocean or city skyline as well as three pools, beachfront cabanas and award-winning, on-site dining. Check out the venue.

19. Explore the beautiful city of Miami. Take in the culture of one of the United States’ most multi-cultural cities by visiting one of our many recommendations. Click and scroll to see things to do in Miami.

20. Leave with new ideas. Return to your early learning school with a new outlook on your business and fresh approaches to share with your team, and start growing your school to be as strong and prosperous as it can possibly be!
