Three New Team Members Join HINGE Advisors

The team at HINGE Advisors is thrilled to welcome three incredible members to our growing organization! These talented new employees are proven in their individual fields and the perfect culture fit for the HINGE team. We can’t wait to introduce our clients and industry friends to this dynamic bunch who will allow us to make an even greater impact on the early education industry. Get to know each of them below!

Welcome Wes Simmons!

Wes is well-known for strategically advising education business owners on exit strategies for nearly 15 years. As a Transaction Advisor, he has extensive experience working with traditional, Reggio, and Montessori preschools as well as traditional and Montessori K-8 schools. With decades of prior experience in commercial real estate sales and as a former early education franchise consultant, Wes offers a wealth of knowledge and proven expertise.

At HINGE, Wes leads clients through our competitive transaction process — guiding them through negotiations, diligence, and legal agreements and helping them gain them maximum value for their schools.

Welcome Melissa Davis!

Melissa worked opposite of the HINGE team for many years as the transaction manager for a large national childcare provider. With 20 years of experience in the childcare industry, she has held roles in operations, IT, and acquisitions. Most recently, Melissa worked in the residential real estate industry, helping both buyers and sellers complete successful transactions.

As a Diligence Manager for HINGE, Melissa will work alongside the transaction team to guide selling clients through the in-depth due diligence process. Her keen eye for detail, superior organization skills, and knack for project management will help streamline diligence — and hopefully lessen a few headaches along the way.

Welcome Annie Nicholson!

Annie brings more than 12 years of B2B marketing experience to HINGE, having worked in the lighting, architecture, and beverage industries. She is well-versed in effective communication strategies and branding, is a graphic design geek at heart, and loves keeping up with new tech and design trends.

As the Marketing Communications Director at HINGE, Annie leads OM development and design for the transaction team. She also tackles a wide-range of strategic marketing and communications needs for our development and advisor teams. From flyers to eBlasts to full tour booklets, Annie helps the HINGE team — and our selling clients— look good!
